R 360 Environmental Solutions, LLC (R360 ES) brings a people-focused approach to the disposal and treatment of non-hazardous exploration and production (E&P) waste. What distinguishes the company is its focus on human capital and long-standing view that culture matters. Its servant-leadership-based philosophy fosters a culture emphasizing relationships, diversity of opinions, safety and accountability. As the company grows, it remains intentional with its values and commitment to employee development, including leveraging new initiatives, such as in-house training programs, to drive continuous improvement in employee engagement, retention and safety. This effort translates into a customer experience where dedicated, proactive employees go above and beyond to ensure the proper treatment and disposal of E&P waste.
“Our success is built on the dedication of our team, whose hard work and commitment allow us to do what we love,” says Darren Warren, District Manager. “When employees feel valued and empowered, they don’t just respond to issues, they anticipate them, ensuring proactive support and service to our customers.”
With over 350 employees across several basins in the U.S., R360 is a premier partner to its customers in the E&P industry, understanding the evolving nature of the industry and adapting to exceed customers’ expectations.
Driving Sustainability with Innovative Recycling Solutions
R360 ES provides non-hazardous E&P waste treatment, recovery and disposal through a network of landfills, injection wells and treatment facilities. The company offers a variety of solutions including collection, marine terminal access and in certain E&P markets with limited on-site storage or treatment of waste, it provides containers and collection services to establish a closed loop system for drilling waste at customer sites. Additionally, it owns and operates E&P waste transfer stations with marine access. These transfer stations compact and load waste for transport to landfills or treatment facilities via truck or barge, expanding its direct-haul abilities to distant sites, concentrating waste from a broader area to improve utilization and operational efficiency for its customers.
Our success is built on the dedication of our team, whose hard work and commitment allow us to do what we love
Currently, R360 owns and operates two thermal desorption units in the Eagle Ford and Permian basins to aid in the reclamation of hydrocarbons from drill cuttings. Its proprietary technology removes oil and water from drill cuttings and produces a marketable Recycled Base Oil (RBO). RBO provides an innovative solution to the customers facing the challenges of sourcing base oils needed in drilling activities. At the same time, RBO furthers its recycling efforts and reduces its customers’ reliance on virgin materials, helping to create a more sustainable future for the E&P industry.
A Legacy of Expertise and Leadership
Servant leadership has and will continue to define and differentiate the company. As a management concept, this inverts the traditional hierarchy, positioning leaders to serve their employees both professionally and personally. This philosophy empowers employees, prioritizing their needs and encouraging shared responsibility for personal and professional development.
R360’s leadership development efforts include multi-day servant leadership training sessions, district management trainings and leadership webinars on a variety of topics. In addition to required trainings, employees throughout the organization have access to additional safety, sales, maintenance, operations and financial training courses.
The company’s ability to identify and address customer needs and requirements stems from its servant leadership philosophy and culture. R360 believes its experience and expertise are founded in the long tenure of its leaders and employees and through the continuous initiatives of professional and personal development. This approach cultivates both current and future leaders, ensuring safe and reliable operations and establishing a promising future for the E&P waste disposal industry.
Strategic Growth and Future Vision
Its operations are managed on a decentralized basis, placing decision-making authority closer to the customer and enabling the company to rapidly identify and address customer needs. To exemplify, each of its operating locations has a district or site manager with a high degree of decision-making authority and responsibility for day-to-day operations, profit and loss, maintaining service quality, customer relationships, promoting safety, implementing marketing programs and contract administration.
This approach provides a highly efficient operating structure, allowing it to expand into geographically contiguous markets. Further, it is also continuously looking for expansion opportunities in attractive markets that meet its economic and regulatory requirements.
With a dedicated team guided by its servant leadership-based philosophy and strategically positioned assets, R360 Environmental Solutions is proud to be the premier E&P waste disposal provider to its customers and looks forward to continued growth opportunities.
