The urgency for investments in projects and economic activities aligned with a sustainable society is escalating. According to the European Central Bank (ECB), substantial investments are required through 2030 and beyond to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 in the European Union. An annual additional investment of nearly €400 billion is needed, with 75 percent allocated to the power grid and power plant sectors. The climate change emergen

Top Climate Analysts Platform in Europe 2025

Founded in 2023, Club Climate Europe has rapidly positioned itself as a trusted international platform for climate intelligence, foresight, and action. More than a think tank, it is a growing coalition of climate analysts, educators, policymakers, and capacity builders committed to closing the critical gaps in climate adaptation and sustainable transitions in Europe and beyond. The initiative took root in 2022 while developing a Horizon Europe project centred on integrated climate modelling. It brought together experts from American and Purdue universities, the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, Imperial College London, and other prominent universities and research centres across the USA, UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Lithuania. This collaboration led to the realisation that one of the major obstacles to global climate and energy transitions lies in the limited capabilities of current analytical and modelling tools, particularly integrated assessment models. Club Climate Europe was born in response to this challenge. Today, it functions as a highly networked, mostly non-profit platform for climate professionals, offering strategic guidance to governments, international organisations, and civil society. The group recently held a direct online meeting with Philippe Lamberts, principal advisor for climate to the President of the European Commission, underlining its growing role in supporting EU institutions on capacity building and alignment toward the 2030, 2040, and 2050 climate goals. Earlier, it met with the Cabinet of V. Dombrovskis, the executive Vice-president of the European Commission, and with Mr. Kamil Maj, a member of the Cabinet of the President of the European Parliament, with several other officials of the European Commission and of the European Parliament, and the embassies of the USA in Brussels and Vilnius. .

Today’s corporate landscape doesn’t view sustainability as a mere buzzword. It’s a strategic imperative driving businesses towards a greener and more responsible future. SUSTAINABILITY is a leading consultancy firm dedicated to guiding organizations through the complexities of environmental stewardship with strategic and sustainable business development. As advisors, the company helps clients view sustainability as a driver of progress and profitability when integrated into the core business strategy. By structuring data effectively and incorporating sustainability into every aspect of operations, it enables businesses to address the multifaceted demands of sustainability including navigating the complexities of environmental regulations, governance issues, and social responsibilities. Drawing on its expertise in comprehensive assessments and strategic planning, SUSTAINABILITY specializes in double materiality assessments—the cornerstone of emerging reporting standards such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and European Sustainability Reporting Standards. SUSTAINABILITY’s approach goes beyond compliance to excel in stakeholder engagement, due diligence for environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors, and political and regulatory analysis. The company also provides guidance aligned with Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) requirements, ensuring clients are well-prepared for diverse regulatory landscapes, particularly in North America. “Years of experience in sustainability and business, I have observed a remarkable evolution from idealistic sustainability efforts to investor-driven demands for detailed climate risk information,” says Mette Fossum, CEO. “To that end, our strategies create significant opportunities for businesses to thrive amidst the green shift by addressing both the practical and financial aspects of sustainability.” The European Green Deal has also been a pivotal game changer, establishing a robust regulatory framework that directs investments towards sustainability. Recognizing this trend, SUSTAINABILITY helps clients secure green finance by developing comprehensive strategies backed by detailed data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). These KPIs cover various aspects such as climate reduction, diversity and equality, and value chain improvements. With these detailed KPIs, companies can approach banks with a clear sustainability agenda, enhancing their chances of obtaining better loan rates and investment opportunities.

Environmental Consulting Services in Europe

Founded during Poland’s transformative shift to a market economy in the early 1990s, Lemitor is one of the nation’s first private companies devoted to environmental protection. Established in Wrocław by Mr. and Mrs. Lewicki, the family-owned business has evolved from a local operation to a recognised leader in environmental sustainability across Europe. Initially, Lemitor focused on air protection, providing air quality measurements and assisting companies with environmental permit applications. Over time, its services expanded to include noise assessments, wastewater analysis, laboratory testing and comprehensive environmental impact studies. “We operate through two core divisions—an ISO-accredited laboratory and a consulting arm certified under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. These dual capabilities allow us to deliver precision and reliability across diverse client needs,” says Przemyslaw Lewicki, managing director. Initially serving clients within Poland, Lemitor extended its expertise across Europe, overcoming the challenges of aligning with differing national certifications while adhering to harmonised EU regulations. Its international work includes impactful projects such as motorway noise mapping in Serbia, strategic noise maps in Croatia and environmental action plans in the Czech Republic. This expansion reflects Lemitor’s adaptability and ability to navigate complex regulatory environments while delivering tailored solutions to clients across borders. At the heart of Lemitor’s operations is a strong customer-centric approach. The company emphasises personalised solutions, working closely with private and public clients to address their unique challenges. For example, Lemitor’s tailored due diligence processes ensure businesses can confidently navigate environmental requirements, while its consulting services guide public entities through complex regulatory landscapes. This adaptability and focus on specific client needs underpin its reputation as a reliable and innovative partner. Innovation has always been central to Lemitor’s growth. A standout example is the company’s collaboration with the Technical University of Wrocław on an EU-funded initiative to develop a dynamic noise and air contamination map. This project integrated real-time measurements with AI-driven predictions, enabling accurate monitoring in regions lacking physical monitoring infrastructure. Embracing advanced technology, Lemitor demonstrated its ability to address complex environmental challenges while exploring new opportunities to enhance sustainability. Covering every stage of the project lifecycle, Lemitor offers comprehensive services designed to meet the needs of both private businesses and public sector organisations.
